​My name is Thomas Cheng, and I’ve been working

in the automotive industry since my first job as a

detailer at age 16. Over the years, I’ve refined my

detailing skills and expanded my expertise as a

mechanic. In 2022, I attended the Lincoln Institute

of Technology in Denver, Colorado, where I gained

both basic and advanced automotive knowledge

that I still use every day.

 

​While in school, I had the privilege of working at

Lexus of Greenwood Village, completing two

apprenticeships—one focused on used vehicles of

all makes and models, and another dedicated to

the latest Lexus vehicles. During my time there, I

was also encouraged to pursue ASE certification

tests. I currently hold four ASE certifications: Manual

Transmissions, Brakes, Steering & Suspension, and Basic Electrical. I’m always striving to expand my knowledge and plan to earn even more certifications in the future.
